Frustrated with existing options, Emily, founder of Ocean Made, wanted a better biodegradable planter pot. Working with Fun Stuff Design, we developed a cost-competitive custom material that uses seaweed to improve performance — reducing and eliminating transplant shock for faster-growing, healthier plants, and an earth-safe alternative to peat-moss-based products.

Facing a challenging fundraising environment and a pitch that was falling flat, I teamed up with the founding team at RTV to support their seed round. After interviewing the founders and developing a venture blueprint, we redeveloped their pitch and decks. After the pitch rebuild, we saw instant results. A pitch that had been falling flat in the morning resonated by the evening (and received a standing ovation at a pitch event). When we launched a 4-week fundraising campaign, it was closed in less than 2, oversubscribed with a world-class lead investor.

The AB4S biotech consortium commissioned this 2026 report to identify and evaluate the next generation of commercial molecules. They wanted the report to feel future focused without reading sci-fi, and saw it as an opportunity to develop the AB4S brand. We developed the report design, including custom molecule renderings and graphics. Research by McKinsey & Co. Written by Messaging Lab.

AlgiKnit had a material, but was missing an easy way to tell a story that made sense for a general audience. I developed a shoe concept that featured AlgiKnit filament, and 3d printed flexible kelp-based components. All completed as part of my Masters of Industrial Design at Pratt Institute. The press generated by the concept shoe directly led to a $2.3M seed round led by Hong Kong based Horizons Ventures
